* The online warranty registration applies only to models that are purchased in Singapore
[1] THIS WARRANTY IS LIMITED TO THE MACHINE, AC ADAPTOR AND ITS ORIGINAL SUPPLIED ACCESSORIES. - Receipt/invoice that reflects the machine serial number must be produced when sending in for service. - Machine serial number must not be altered, defaced or removed. [2] Limited Standard Warranty Coverage: - This one year local limited warranty applies only to the products sold in Singapore and covers the labour and parts replacement cost from the date of purchase. - The warranty period for battery(s) and adaptor(s) is six months from the date of purchase. - Replacement of defective component(s) is subject to component availability. Refurbished or serviced component will be used for the replacement. - All services are on carry-in basis to the Kohjinsha Service Provider. You are fully responsible for all shipping and handling fees incurred through the repair process. [3] Limited warranty DOES NOT cover the following: - Damage resulting from normal wear and tear, fire, flood, fumes, or convulsions of nature/acts of God. - Damage due to rough handling, transportation, misuse, abuse, negligence, fluid spill or accident caused. - Any software preloaded on and 3rd party software(s). - Unauthorized modification and flushing of BIOS or optical drive, process by other models or brands. - Consumable supplies of accessories such as chassis cover casing, LEDs, socket connector, cable, carrying case etc. - Machine’s storage device (Hard Disk) will not be covered if the machine is found to be dented/chipped. - Cost of service for installation, upgrade or removal of products or options. - International Standards Organisation (ISO) has published its own set of specifications for pixel defects in flat panel monitors. Replacement occurs only when there are 7 dead pixels. - LCD panels physically damaged due to accidental drops, spills etc and such damages are noticeable (examples include but are not limited, to scratches, imprint/water marks, cracks and dents). - Preventive maintenance such as battery conditioning, cleaning of virus, software installation, data backup etc. - Kohjinsha Service Provider does not responsible for damage to or loss of any software, data or removable storage media in the course of warranty repair or other repair services. - 3rd party add-ons, e.g. screen shield, sticker, RAM modules, external devices etc. - Usage of the product or any form of software/hardware installation. [4] Warranty is void if : - The product has been altered, tampered, adjusted, converted, modified, repaired or serviced by any person other than Kohjinsha Support Provider. - The product has been damaged as a result of accident, unreasonable use, negligent alterations, improper service, improper installation, and improper connections with peripherals or other causes not arising out of defects in materials and workmanships. - User refuses to remove 3rd party options that Kohjinsha Service Provider has identified to be problematic and requested removal.
